So according to Apple, one of the big reasons for bringing out the iPod Shuffle is the shuffle “phenomenon with iPod users - the ‘shuffle songs’ playback mode that randomizes either portions or the entirety of your music library.”
I’m just wondering if I’m alone in iPod-dom in that I rarely, if ever, use the shuffle songs mode. Anyone else of similar mind?
I'm in Shuffle mode the vast majority of the time.
Every so often I'll get the itch to hear a particular album, so switch modes. On the even rarer occassion, I'll have an urge hear a collection of stuff, so I'll build an On The Go list.
I've toyed with getting shuffle or asking for one for my birthday. I think the shuffle would become the "mobile" iPod - gym and stuff - and big brother would become the "stationary" iPod - at the desk, in the car, etc.
