Dear ESPN,
I realize that it’s a pretty big deal that Nick Saban deserted the Miami Dolphins to become the highest paid college football coach in the country, but don’t you think it’s newsworthy that LSU exposed how overrated Notre Dame is in the Sugar Bowl last night, and that that should dominate the College Football home page?
Please rectify this at your earliest convenience.
Thanks,
Retrophisch
Update: It appears I’ve been heard. (Shush and allow me this delusion, will you?) As of 12:20 PM CST when I checked the College Football home page, the upcoming championship game between Florida and Ohio State has replaced Saban as the main news of the moment. Still no love for my Tigers from the SEC-bigoted blowhards at ESPN.
I think they must have heard you:

Its on the top of the page but small compared to Saban but not too favorable of the Irish.

No respect at all. The whole sugar bowl pregame show was all Notre Dame, how great they are, how great their hertiage is, how great Brady Quinn is, etc.... Bradshaw is falling all over Quinn with interviews and games, Tim Brown can't even say the letters LSU without convulsions, Johnson say he loves ND, and howie was goo goo because the ND linebacker has his number and loves him.
In about the 3rd quarter I think they started mentioning that Jamarcus wasn't to bad and LSU really did prove themselves. Everybody else knew this going in but they just can't shake the ND slant.
ok, rage over, 41-14 felt really good.
And I can't wait until Saban returns to Baton Rouge and gets to eat some humble pie.

And that, my friend, is what matters in the end. 8^)
I can't wait until Saban returns to Baton Rouge and gets to eat some humble pie.
We'll have to wait until the 2008 season for that; this fall we play 'Bama in Tuscaloosa.
