So Davis had a little setback on Sunday. He couldn’t handle all 6 bottle feedings, and began having Brady and apnea episodes. It was just too tiring for his little system. So the docs cut him back to 4 bottles, and when they up it again in the next day or so, they’ll just go to 5 bottles instead of a big leap to 6.
All in all, he’s still doing very well, and should be home relatively soon; it just may be delayed a couple of more days while he gets weaned off the feeding tube and his brain matures to where he can feed all 8 times during a 24-hour period from the bottle or breast.
