Make your own baby wipes

We haven’t actually done this, but this is a recipe for baby wipes that Kelly was sent by a member of the baby boards she frequents:

1 package Bounty white paper towels

2 Cups warm water

1 TBSP baby oil

1 TBSP Baby bath or shampoo

Cut paper towel in half with a straight knife. Remove the core and place in an air-tight container (like rubbermaid). Mix water with baby oil and shampoo and pour over paper towels.

Note: If you use a large roll of paper towels then use 3 cups of water and 1 1/2 TBSP of oil and bath.

Six months old!

Davis turned six months old on Saturday, the 7th. He had his six-month check-up on Friday the 13th. He weighed 18 pounds, 10 ounces, and is 28 inches tall. He is in the 90-95th percentile for height, and in the 65-70th percentile for weight. Both of those are unadjusted for his premature birth! He’s doing great!

After some starts and stops, and some excema we believe came from a rice allergy, Davis is doing well with oatmeal as his starter solid. Mom mixed a little apple juice in with it this evening, and declared it a tasty concotion even for adults!
