This morning Mom decided to try giving Davis some water with his breakfast of oatmeal and peaches. The catch was that she didn’t use a sippy cup; rather, she had Dad put some water in a regular cup and held it for Davis. He loved it!
We’ve been trying to get him to drink regular water, or heavily watered-down apple juice, from a sippy cup, but to date he has shown more interest in using the cup as a toy than a drinking implement. Time will tell if he turns to it more as the latter.
