Looking quite the little man, Davis taking it easy in the chair his Grandma and Grandpa got for him at their church bazaar sale last year:
As always, family members should contact Dad for a high-resolution photo suitable for printing.

Nothing to do with the Sly Stallone flick, but we had our occurrence of first blood this past Sunday afternoon.
Davis was sitting on the bottom step of the stairs, and Dad was bringing over the kiddie gate to block it off. Davis got up from the step when Dad asked him to, and as he was walking toward the living room, Dad stepped too close, and Davis tripped over Dad’s toe. Smack! Right on to the hardwood floor.
I’m not sure if he connected directly with the hardwood, or if the plastic hammer he was carrying was sandwiched between him and the floor, but when I picked him up, blood was running out of his left nostril. Now I don’t mean a trickle, or a few drops. There was flow. Dad was extremely upset at the thought that Davis may have just broken his nose.
Up the stairs we went, where Mom was already getting a wet rag to help staunch the flow. After about five minutes, the bleeding at stopped, except for the occasional spotting. Another five minutes, and Davis was tearing around as if nothing had happened. Further monitoring revealed no swelling, and so no broken nose. He had a couple of little blood spots on his bed sheet this morning, but no further evidence of anything wrong with the nose.
Just to prove that it’s not all singing and dancing with the little man, we humbly present, The Tantrum.
Please note, just as with the previous post, the movie should be viewed on a high-speed connection only. It is approximately 6.5 MB and. It requires QuickTime.
At the time of filming, the tantrum had already been underway for approximately 15 minutes.
However, after a few more minutes, our guy decided it was time to calm down, and would eventually end up in a happy place.
