For two weeks, beginning at the end of June, Davis took swim lessons with Ms. Ann Blount, and Mom captured some moments from the final lesson on July 8th.
Last month, on the 11th, Davis attended the birthday party of a girl in his class, Raegan, who turned three. The party was held at Pump It Up! in Grapevine.
Davis was really apprehensive when the group was shown in to the play area, to the point of tears. After some consoling by Mommy and Daddy, and some cajoling on the part of Dad, Davis started playing on the various bounce house and slide sets—but insisted Daddy go with him!
A Fourth of July parade was held at Davis’s school a few days before the Fourth of July. (I’ll have to have a word with the administrators over the fact the holiday is called “Independence Day”, not “The Fourth of July”, a misnomer repeatedly repeated throughout our nation.)
To celebrate the occasion, the class decorated t-shirts, and made red, white, and blue shakers.
